The majority of magazines currently in publication are now accepting digital photographs. In the past, the quality of digital cameras were not sufficient for getting the job done because they did not produce photos with a high enough resolution and detail level to make the transition onto the pages of a magazine.
Digital photography and having your pictures put in print is providing and image with the right resolution and pixel size in a format that operating systems of other computers can easily open them.
When you submit your digital photographs to a magazine, make sure to include your name and address as well as a brief description of your submission CD with printout of your images in high quality. Photoshop is very helpful with preparing your digital pictures for submission to magazine.
Remember to stick to photographs that are relevant to the subject matter to which you are submitting your work.
